The Arizona Gems 360 Showcase delivered exactly what it was designed to be — an intense, high-level individual showcase environment where competition wasn’t optional, it was demanded. From the first whistle to the final possession, players were pushed, challenged, and evaluated in real time. This wasn’t just reps… this was pressure. This was growth.
What made it different? The synergy.
The partnership between Gems In The Gym and Shoot 360 East Valley showed its full power — blending elite basketball evaluation, teaching, and culture with cutting-edge technology, analytics, and skill development systems. The result was a space where players didn’t just hoop… they learned, adjusted, and elevated.
This is not a one-off.
This is the foundation of something that will continue to grow, evolve, and become a staple in Arizona basketball culture.
And with that… let’s get to the Gems.
🔍 PLAYERS WHO CAUGHT OUR EYE — PART 1
2027 | Guard | Jayla Freeman
Jayla Freeman was different all weekend. A dynamic, explosive guard that lived in the paint — blowing by defenders like they were standing still. But what separated her wasn’t just the buckets… it was the playmaking and defensive presence. She impacted both ends at a high level.
Certified problem. Certified Gem.
2029 | Post | Amaya Ribbens
At 6’3”, Amaya brings a presence you can’t teach. Soft hands, elite touch, and a comfort level in the short corner and mid-range that’s advanced for her age. She thrives in the pick-and-roll and pick-and-pop game, and she rebounds everything in her area.
High-level interior foundation with modern versatility.
2029 | Guard | Romaya Farrington
Energy. Juice. Competitive fire. Romaya brought it every possession. She showed range off the catch and bounce, mixed in tough downhill finishes, and never backed down.
The type of player that changes momentum with her presence.
2027 | PG | Izzy Anderson
Izzy’s growth over the weekend was real. She’s a true floor general — poised, unselfish, and fundamentally sound. But here’s the key: when she flips the switch and becomes assertive, her entire game elevates.
Next step = controlled aggression. And when that clicks… watch out.
2030 | Guard | Rozay Perales
The lefty just plays different. Smooth, composed, and advanced in her decision-making. She can score it from range, understands the game, and doesn’t rush.
High IQ + skill = long-term upside. She can be special.
2028 | Guard | Destinee Benway
Let’s be clear… she can flat out SHOOT it.
Destinee was the most consistent shooter in the building. Quick release, deep range, and confidence. But don’t sleep — close out too hard and she’s attacking and finishing.
Elite shot-maker with sneaky versatility.
2030 | Guard | Taiyanna Samuels
Taiyanna is built different. A strong, explosive guard with elite body control and scoring instincts. But what really stood out? Her court vision and defensive tenacity.
She competes, she produces, and she impacts the game in multiple ways.
Complete baller. No shortcuts in her game.
2029 | Wing | MJ Francis
MJ might’ve had one of the highest upsides in the gym. Standing around 6’1”–6’2”, she’s long, athletic, and plays with a motor that doesn’t quit.
But what really stood out? Coachability.
She took tough coaching, processed it, and applied it immediately. Around the rim she’s strong, and her turn-and-face midrange is butter.
Sky is the limit with this one.
2028 | Wing | Serenity Hampton
Serenity brings that physical presence on the perimeter. She plays bully ball the right way — attacking downhill with either hand, defending multiple positions, and rebounding at a high level.
High motor. High impact. No nonsense.
2026 | PG | Ashari Emuze
One of my absolute favorites in the building.
Ashanti is a DAWG.
Nonstop motor, relentless defender, lightning-quick handles, explosive burst, and that midrange is pure butter. She plays with an edge you can’t teach.
You feel her every possession.
2028 | PG | Tylaiah Wily
All gas. No brakes.
Tylaiah is an elite competitor with speed, strength, and a burst that creates separation instantly. She embraces contact and competes at a high level.
Oh… and she walked away as the Queen of the Court 1v1 Champion.
That tells you everything you need to know.
2030 | Wing | Aliyah Lewis
A new face that made noise. Around 5’9”, Aliyah is a defensive hawk, relentless rebounder, and an aggressive slasher.
She attacks the game with purpose and doesn’t shy away from the moment.
Production + effort = impact.
2027 | Wing/Post | Adrianna Mumbere
Tireless. Fearless. Relentless.
Adrianna competes every second she’s on the floor. She fights for position, finishes over both shoulders, and showed a fluid outside shot.
With her size, intensity, and presence —
she has Division 1 written all over her.
2031 | Wing | Paris Woodhouse
Standing at 6’1”, Paris is mobile, skilled, and impactful defensively. She blocked shots on-ball and in help, showing strong instincts. Offensively, her turn-and-face game is polished.
Young. Skilled. Defensive presence already.
This is just the beginning.
There are MORE Gems to highlight, more stories to tell, and more players who showed they belong in these conversations.
Part 2 coming soon……
Stay locked in.
We working. 💎

One of the things that really stands out about VSQUAD Studio vsquad.art/3d-character is how versatile their experience is. They’ve worked with everything from small indie teams just getting their first ideas off the ground to massive AAA projects aimed at global audiences. That kind of range isn’t something you see everywhere. Because of that, they don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. A stylized character for a mobile game? Totally different mindset compared to building a hyper-realistic hero for a cinematic production - and they clearly get that. What’s impressive is how smoothly they switch between styles, workflows, and production scales. No matter the project, they seem to adapt quickly and still deliver high-quality results that match the client’s vision. It’s tha…
